The past few days out here on AMI have been extra special. On Saturday, Ben, Sarah, Joey and Sweet Baby James joined us. We've had a great time hanging around, eating at some of our favorite places, spending time on the beach and so much more. As you could imagine one of these guests has kinda stolen the show and been the center of attention. Of course my opinion is a little biased but I've never seen a happier baby in my life. All you have to do to get a smile from him that will absolutely melt your heart is to simply look at him. If he feels he's not getting enough attention he'll start dancing, singing, clapping or something else to make sure you don't forget him, like that could actually happen. He's loving everything about the beach except the water and the sand. The water was a little too chilly for his comfort and the sand is a new experience.
Now the little toot did create some excitement last Friday. He had a pretty serious collision with the tile floor in his house and ended up in the ER. Thankfully the CT and X-Rays were all negative and the doctors said he was fine to make the trip. He's got a pretty good black eye that makes him look like a tough guy. We wanted to buy him a shirt that either said "You should see the other guy" or "I'm never flying United Airlines Again".
Ben flies back tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. We'll have Sarah, Joey and SBJ until Friday morning. We're so grateful for the time together!
