December.........coast to coast Christmas all month long!

In just a few hours we'll say goodbye to 2021, and welcome in what will hopefully be a safe, healthy and happy new year for everyone.  It's been a fun month filled with family.  We started the month in California and ended it in Florida.

We were having such a great time that sometimes we forgot to take pictures, but here's some of the moments we captured:

We kicked off the month with a tour of the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield, California.  Ben was able to be with us for the first part of the month before he headed to Texas to visit friends.......spoiler alert........he rejoined us in Florida for Christmas!  We're very thankful that he is able to work remotely as well as to have some well earned time off.

Emma playing "hide and seek" with Pop!
Glowfari at the Oakland Zoo!

Train Town and the Sonoma Plaza

The "Beary" nice looking Martin Family modeling their "Beary" fashionable Christmas gift from the "Beary" cool guy on the left side of the picture!

James and MiMi whipping up some tasty Sloppy Joes!

Even though James was getting attacked by an angry crocodile and giant bug, he wasn't going to put down his treat from Amy's Wicked Slush!

Surf Buddies!

James and MiMi made these paper sack puppets for Emma's upcoming Birthday

Beth and I ran into these galactic passengers at the Oakland Airport
Gas in Florida, Gas in California...........you probably know which is which!

As an early Christmas present, Ben gave me a ticket to Tampa's Gasparilla Bowl.  We had a great time, unfortunately our Gators got kicked around pretty good

Ben's cousin, Kimberly joined us for the game.  Like me, she's a proud UF Alumni.  She was at UF when a young man named Tim Tebow was our quarterback.  She wasn't used to seeing us lose!

Christmas Eve family gathering at Woody's River Roo on the Manatee River

Christmas Eve Night Gathering with my side of the family in Lakeland.  Amazing Cuban Food!
Afternoon beach time on Anna Maria Island with the Carmen Family, Beth's sisters and niece (Kimberly)

I haven't been out on the paddleboard too often lately.  I had a nice sunrise paddle sharing the water with plenty of snook, mullet, sting rays and dolphins.
