End of the day......so far so good here

It's starting to get dark outside, but so far so good. We've had a steady rain all day that has varied from light to really hard. The winds have blown steadily with occasional gusts. There are some small limbs down but I can't see any trees down in the neighborhood.  Surprisingly we haven't lost power.  The hurricane has made landfall and is losing strength.  That being said, we still have a long way to go.   The rain is coming harder and the winds are stronger than they have been at any time today.  Conditions will still get worse before they start to improve. We're hanging tough!
