| Quite a trio! |
We left Florida on July 28 to start the next leg of this ongoing adventure. We spent some time in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Alaska before returning to the sunshine state. Cool places and slightly cooler temperatures!
We flew out on our former favorite airline (Southwest) from Sarasota to San Francisco. To get the best price, we weren't on the most direct route. We went by way of Baltimore, so it was a pretty full travel day. When we stepped out of the San Francisco airport we both got huge smiles on our faces. Not only did we know that we’d soon be seeing the grandkids and Sarah (unfortunately Joey was out of town with the church youth group), but we were greeted with a temperature hovering around 60 degrees!
We had five wonderful days enjoying doing nothing particularly special, but enjoying the fact that every minute was special. Our parents sure were right when they used to tell us “they grow up fast”. James is now a fourth grader, Emma is a kindergartner, and Hank is almost seven months old already! Time flies!
