We've all learned that in the world we live in today, practically everything is subject to change on a moments notice. That certainly holds true for our next adventure. Everything is planned, booked and is a "go" at this moment. Of course, with the caveat of "subject to change".
Our current plans are to leave Florida on January 8. It'll be a long travel day, but at the end of the day we hope to find ourselves snuggled up in bed in Honolulu. We'll be spending four nights in Honolulu before taking an interisland flight to Kona on the Big Island, for an additional seven nights.
We've had the good fortune of visiting Hawaii several times, although it's been a few years since we've enjoyed the "Aloha Spirit". Our last visit was in October, 2016 right before we left from Hawaii on a 33 day cruise that ended in New Zealand. There's been a few changes in the world of travel since those days!
Once our time in Hawaii is complete, we'll fly back to California to enjoy a few days with Sarah, Joey, James and Emma Joy. We'll also be retrieving the Silver Bullet and starting a nearly three week, cross country drive. Stops along the drive will include Death Valley, Ca., Las Vegas, NV., Springdale, Utah., Flagstaff, Az., Ruidoso, NM., and a few more places. Honestly, we're not sure yet if we'll be bringing the Bullet back to Florida or pointing it towards Ben's house in Pennsylvania. Whatever we decide will be "subject to change" at a moments notice................we'll keep you posted!
