Beth and I just watched the sun go down for the final time in 2018. In just a few hours the ball will drop in Times Square. Since we're on the West Coast where it will be 9:00 there's a chance that we'll be awake to see it.

It's been an adventurous year that has taken us to several new destinations including the Azores (new for me), Peru, Ecuador, Israel, Jordan, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. We also enjoyed revisiting some of our favorite places in the US, Caribbean and Canada. We are grateful that we were able to spend so much time with Ben, Sarah, Joey, James and of course NaNa.
Thanks to those of you who have followed our journey on this blog. We appreciate you coming along for the ride. We've got a few things planned for 2019 but as usual we'll be making up a lot of it as we go along.
