A special place in my heart forever!

Yesterday morning around 10:45 assuming "it was Sabbath somewhere" I walked out the door of Texas Health Huguley Hospital for the last time as a team member.  This entry is dedicated to the employees, physicians and volunteers at Texas Health Huguley.


THANK YOU!  I cannot begin to express my gratitude to you for the smiles, laughter, kindness, care and compassion that you showed me over the nearly 23 years that I had the privilege of serving with you.  Your clinical excellence is outstanding but the manner in which you care for your patients and each other is beyond description.


Over the years I've heard it said by so many that "its just different at Huguley".  That's about as accurate of a description as I can think of as well.  The spirit of "Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ" is who you are and what you do.


THANK YOU!  The retirement party Thursday afternoon was something that exceeded my wildest dreams.  I loved every hug, handshake and story!  I appreciated the video produced by the hospital as well as the one produced by my second favorite Seminole, Christine Stewart and the corporate communications team.

I love and will miss each of you.  I also know that everyday you will continue to reach new heights.  I'm looking forward to keeping up with your journey as well and can't wait to see the beautiful new hospital somewhere down the line.
